Let It Snow

Let’s get started-
It’s the worst blizzard for fifty years, where three wintry
love stories take place. On one magical night.
So, it’s Christmas Eve and Gracetown has been buried by
snow. But the weather is more than just an inconvenience. When one girl
unexpectedly steps off a stranded train, she sets off a series of life changing
events. That’s the first story’s summary. And the protagonist in this story is
Jubilee (much like a dessert, hah). This is, for me, the best story in this
book. And, unexpectedly for me, it’s written down by Maureen Johnson (I’d never
heard of her before. Call me anything you want, but yes. And then I searched on
about her. And yay, I love her other books!) A good first impression, Maureen.
Soon fourteen pumped up cheerleaders descend on the local
Waffle House, and the Duke’s (it’s a girl, mind you) DVD night is rudely
interrupted for a Twister mission (in the Waffle House, with all those snobby
teen-cheerleaders). That’s the second story. It’s actually pretty to-the-point,
and isn’t all about love at first sight and all that sick shit. And guess who’s
written this one? Of course, the famous John Green!
Then, a love-sick barista determines the fate of a single
tea-cup pig. That’s the third story (and that’s all I can possibly say about
it). It isn’t one of my favorites, but it isn’t bad, either. It’s by Lauren
Myracle.
As these three stories collide, strangers cross paths and
romance blossoms with heart warming consequences.
Of course, I will not give excerpts on this one. Sorry.
But don't lose hope.. Here's an awesome picture to cheer you up!
Just one spoiler- Hmm… Don’t worry, Jubilee will find her
one true love. In the most unexpected place. The Waffle House.
Brownie points- 5 ON 5 BROWNIES. THIS BOOK IS AWESOME!
